The beaches of Peñiscola, many of them with Blue Flag, are accessible beaches, with all services, most with access for the disabled. Countless of them have playgrounds for children, both in the sand and in the water, some have specialized monitors, others have the so-called "libraries of the sea" where reading is offered next to the beach for free and many offer entertainment so that the little ones can spend the morning or afternoon participating with the shows and programmed activities. At night, another nice option is to enjoy a good movie under the stars and on the sand of the beach, or on certain festive dates, festivals of Havana, popular music or firework castles. A recommendation, spend the night of San Juan on a Castellón beach is to live the Mediterranean in its purest form (dinner outdoors by the sea, bonfires, parades with fireworks, music, fireworks castles ...).

Along the beaches, the promenades offer the possibility of quiet walks by the sea, use the bike paths for bicycle rides or practice skating, playgrounds, picnic areas or cafes by the sea are another option to watch sunset next to the Mediterranean.

If the Peñiscola beaches are attractive for the possibilities of family leisure, the nearby marinas are no less, since they offer for the smallest marine activities: baptisms of the sea, courses of initiation to sailing or canoeing ... and with the appropriate age to be able to access the world of scuba diving.
